 Charles Nolte, 1923-2010 A Duluth born actor was a WWII vet, graduated from Yale and U of M with a PHD. Performed in 9 Broadway plays, numerous TV shows and authored 10 plays. He finished his career as an asst. professor at the U. of M theater department. U of M named the Nolte Experimental Theater in his honor in 1997.
