 April 6, 1933. Â Prohibition partially ends with beer allowed to be sold. Â Fitgers loaded 147 trucks for shipment the first day, the first truck out went to Two Harbors. Â They shipped 19,000 cases of beer and 1,260 kegs on April 6, 1933. Fitgers hired a German band to play 'Happy Days Are Here Again.'
