Marie LaFlohic grave marker at the Duluth Calvary Cemetery was Duluth's most famous madam. Her working name was Madame Gain. She was born in France in 1853 and died in Duluth in 1917  She owned multiple houses of prostitution in Duluth and was involved in a Duluth police corruption investigation.  Her exploits are to involved to mention here but her biography may be found on the Zenith Web Site.
