 Adelaide Thurston born in 1871 and moved to Duluth in 1889. She became a touring company actress in many plays and was in one movie in 1915 called 'The Shadow of the Great City.' She usually returned to Duluth for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Retired from acting in 1922 and died in New Jersey in 1951. Photo is from the Cosmopolitan in July 1905.
