Duluth Brewing and Malting Co. 29th Ave. W and Helm St. Built about 1896 and expanded  to over 60 branches in MN. WS, Kansas and Montana to become the second largest brewery in the nation.  Prohibition and the stock market crash took its toll and much of the equipment was sold to Fitger's Beer.  DB&M sold its beer under many labels including Moose Beer, Royal 58 and others.  It finally met it's end when Highway 35 and closed April 1966. The office still stands as Carlson Plumbing, the warehouse is Michaud Distributing, the bottling house renamed the Malt House is an event center. Zenith Web Site
