 Torrey Building, Duluth's first skyscraper at thirty stories, was built  in 1892.  This image is from a 1893 post card and can be found in the UMD Martin Library Archives.  Torrey was a retired US Calvery Officer who camr to Duluth and became very involved in the community.Zenith Web Site.
