 The stone fountian,built to honor George E. Stone was originally built between 9th and 10th Ave. East. Â Currently the fountian is in the Leif Erikson Park Rose Garden. Â Stone was the first treasure of Duluth, co-founded the first Duluth Chamber of Commerce, helped the Merrit Family develope the Mesbi Range and much more.
