April 6, 1933.  Prohibition partially ends with beer allowed to be sold.  Fitgers loaded 147 trucks for shipment the first day, the first truck out went to Two Harbors.  They shipped 19,000 cases of beer and 1,260 kegs on April 6, 1933. Fitgers hired a German band to play 'Happy Days Are Here Again.'  Zenith Web Site
